Park City High School hosts conference on athletic performance nutrition and training – The Park Record

Park City High School will host “Strong. Fast. Fuel.” March 26 at 7pm in the school’s lecture hall.

Organized by Park City High School varsity track standout and future Yale champion Sierra Darling, the community event aims to combat misconceptions in sports about relative energy deficiency, known as RED-S, and low energy availability, LEA.

Designed for female athletes, coaches and parents, the evening will feature expert speaker panels and vendor resources focused on performance nutrition and sustainable training. The goal is to move past harmful myths, such as the idea that missing periods are a sign of “working hard enough,” and instead provide actionable strategies for long-term health and high performance.

All members of the Park City community, especially those involved in youth sports, are invited to attend.

“This lineup is a true powerhouse of elite athletic talent, showcasing an incredible combination of Olympic-level experience, elite sports medicine and Ivy League-bound leadership,” the school said.
