Traverse Fitness is expanding its Denver footprint with a new location in the Heights

Traverse Fitness, Denver’s premier destination for activity and recovery, announced this week its grand opening for its second location in the heart of the Highlands neighborhood. After six years of cultivating a dedicated community at their South Broadway flagship, this expansion comes at an opportune time as classes continue to wait on a weekly basis.

“We are excited to open a second location that can support our continued growth in the Denver market. We have been looking to expand into the Highlands area for several years and this location has everything we could ask for. We are thrilled with the initial response from the local community and we are ready to welcome everyone who has been patiently waiting to join The Traverse.” — Jim Gerber, Co-Founder and CEO

Highland’s location is intentionally designed to serve as a member’s “third space”—a familiar space between work and life, where activity and recovery are treated with equal importance.

“We are excited to expand to the Highlands. There are so many people who come together, show each other, and work toward their goals. We are proud to plant roots in a neighborhood that shares our values of community and endeavor.” — Ashley Grant, Director of Club Operations

At 12,000 square feet, the Highland location was designed with the community in mind. Based on demand at the Broadway location, Traverse has expanded every experience and facility to accommodate even more members. With 3 class seats, the Traverse can accommodate more than 115 members per hour. In addition to expanding workplaces, recreation areas, and a series of social events, the Traverse model is intentionally designed to create a full-circle social wellness experience for its members.
